A sucker for nostalgia, James leans hard on the 80’s and 90’s for inspiration for his fun, bright & texture heavy screenprints. Based in sunny Suffolk, James prints and runs workshops with his partner in a studio they built together.

Bright Fun & Bold

Where do you work?

Working from my studio in Suffolk I make bold, bright prints inspired by childhood toys, films and adventures. I love to embrace those gorgeous flat colours and overlays that screenprinting is famous for.

What do you get up to when you aren’t illustrating or designing?

There’s nothing better than a cold dip in the North Sea.
