Vicki Johnson

Business owner and designer Vicki Johnson originally trained in textile design graduating in 2008 from Nottingham Trent. After graduating Vicki co-founded Print to the People, an open access printmaking studio with Jo Stafford, teaching screen printing alongside continuing her practice between 2009 - 2019.

From 2019 Vicki started work on translating her illustrative style into the printed paper goods brand Printer Johnson. Inspired by nature, folklore and pattern Vicki makes colourful illustrations with a nostalgic feel. Her process led approach to illustration has given her work it’s distinctive bright colour palette.

Vicki works from No.19 shop and studio in central Norwich. The shop stocks a growing range of illustrated paper goods from other designers, makers and publishers alongside the full Printer Johnson collections.
